‘A Place in Bubión’ is a two bed-roomed apartment located in the enchanting and peaceful white village of Bubión.
Bubión lies on the southern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range at 1350 metres in the heart of the high Alpujarras (La Alpujarra), a region of Andalucia in Southern Spain.
This newly refurbished apartment is available to rent as a holiday home throughout the year and can sleep up to 4 people with 2 double bedrooms. There are spectacular views down the Poqueira Gorge and the Sierra de Lújar in the Contraviesa mountains. On a clear days the Riff mountains of Morocco and the Mediterranean Sea can be seen. They are a stunning sight especially with the Spring and Autumn sunsets.
In 1986 the Sierra Nevada was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and has the purest air in Europe! For a relaxing holiday with a wonderful mountain climate, clean air and bright sunshine, there is no better place than this.
In July and August, ‘A Place in Bubión’ is enhanced by the use of a large swimming pool, which is shared with the immediate neighbours. There is a BBQ area and large patio to enjoy the long summer days.
Spring and autumn holidays are a superb mix of bright sunny days and cooler evenings – ideal for people on a walking holiday or for mountain biking, painting, horse riding and bird watching. Guides and bookings for all activities can be made in advance or on arrival.
Winter is a time for cosy log fires, hearty meals in local restaurants and the wonderful light illuminating the snow peaked mountains of the Sierra Nevada.
